Harmony Korine (born 1973) is a Miami-based American filmmaker and visual artist who rose to fame for writing the original screenplay for the 1995 film Kids. Known for transgressive counterculture, his art spans abstract painting, photography, and experimental films. He frequently exhibits with Gagosian Gallery and is represented by Hauser & Wirth.
